We love going into schools and libraries and meeting our readers.
We offer workshops for Nursery, Reception, KS1 and KS2. Sessions include readings, games, story planning, character development and the use of descriptive language. We’re also happy to do assemblies. At the moment Covid makes it very difficult to meet you all face to face but we’re always available for Zoom/Skype/Microsoft Teams sessions and have had very successful virtual visits.

Thank you so much for today! The children loved chatting to you and they now desperately want to know what happens next with Sam Silver and the sea monster!
Thank you so much. The children really enjoyed it and have truly been inspired!
We had a real treat in Year 5 today! The authors of our class novel, Spy Master, joined us on a zoom call. Jan and Sara gave us plenty of tips for writing and even gave us a sneak peak of one of their newer books!
A huge thank you for this morning, I have had nothing but fantastic feedback from all the teachers and children, ranging from how well the children were engaged to how the session was pitched perfectly to the level of the children.
Thank you so much for making our session so alive and exciting for our children.
Thank you so much for such an entertaining session this morning! I could see the children’s faces and the messages in the chat box suggesting they were completely enthralled!!
Thank you for such a great session. The children really enjoyed it and have been so excited all day since.
Thank you both so much! A brilliant discussion and the students loved finding out about your writing process.
A really useful talk that gave the children lots of ideas and tips. I have referred back to Jan and Sara’s advice in all of our English lessons this week. “Remember what Jan and Sara told us”. Jan and Sara gave us exactly what I wanted out of the talk and more. They were friendly, engaging, keeping their answers to a perfect length and worded so that the children could understand. I would definitely recommend.
